Luna Cenere, associated artist of Oriente Occidente Dance Festival for 2019-2020, spends an initial period of residency of about 20 days at  CID in May 2019 to develope her research on the theme of the body.
An artistic, choreographic and human experiment entitled Origini, a laboratory part of Genealogia - a two-year project of choreographic research, involving amateurs and non-professional dancers of the territory with whot develop an in-depth research and implement a process of audience development.
The choreographer wants to bring people from different backgrounds closer to her work in order to increase her artistic practice through the exchange and the meeting with the research participants.
During the course the concept of the body as a place and landscape, as a space, as a limit. Through physical experiences in the context of an empirical research space, the limit of our thinking about the body is put to the test and in crisis. This also through a research practice that contemplates discussion, reading and the genesis of thought from which a creative process can then arise.

Luna Cenere has been selected for 2019 by ResiDance XL: action of the Rete Anticorpi XL - Network Giovane Danza D'Autore, coordinated by L'arboreto - Teatro Dimora di Mondaino and of which also CID and Festival Oriente Occidente are part. The network supports the research of choreographers and dancers who wish to live the residencies to reflect and act on the processes of creation.
