La Veronal working tools

The workshop will focus on the specific language, which characterizes La Veronal.
Marcos Morau has developed over the years a particular methodology to convey this specific style. It will be transmitted to participants through patterns of the exercises, the creation of choreographic material and the construction and final assembly of a scene.

Workshop Objectives:
-    Transmit the company's technique to the workshop participants.
-    Offer tools to facilitate understanding and practice of this dance technique.
-    Enhance participants’ creativity.

 
Who does it interest?
Professional dancers and vocational dance students. The workshop will be held in English.
The choreographer will select the participants on the basis of their curricula.


Marcos Morau
Director and choreographer, Marcos Morau studied choreography at the Institut del Teatre of Barcelona, at the Conservatorio Superior de Danza in Valencia and studied Movement Research in New York.
In 2005 he created La Veronal, company of eclectic artists from different fields: from dance to film, from photography to literature. The artistic team purpose lies directly on a constant research for new expressive media, for cultural references, for a strong narrative language with the intention of forming global art spaces.
Marcos Morau has been awarded with the National Dance Award 2013, granted by the Spanish Ministry of Culture, and Sebastià Gasch Award, an important prize granted by the FAD Foundation for Arts and Design.

Level: Intermediate/advanced, on selection
Fee: 220 euro

You will have a confirmation for your participation in about ten days and we'll explain you how to proceed with the payment.


The registration fee will not be refunded in any case, except for health reasons or for cancellation of the activity due to the COVID-19 situation.

In accordance with Ministerial and Provincial regulations, the activity will be carried out maintaining the interpersonal distance between participants.
